We picked up a car in Burgos, and drove north to the coast, and spent 4 nights with my cousin Malcolm and his wife Pam. In addition to a short soggy visit to Santander, we visited the Altamira cave, the villages of Comillas and Santillana del Mar, we took the aerial lift up to the high country at Fuente De in the Picos de Europa.
